Course Information

This course is a study of human gross anatomy including interrelationships of neuromuscular and skeletal development, the anatomical characteristics of tissues and internal organ systems as well as appreciation of surface anatomy differences between individuals. The course includes patient case studies aimed at the development of critical thinking skills to emphasize the relevance of the knowledge of anatomy to practice in OT. Laboratory sessions include cadaver dissection, anatomical specimens, bones, models and radiographs.
