Course Information

The detailed performance skills of human occupations are examined and used in practical application to understand the nature and performance of occupations across the lifespan. Through the use of the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework and activity analysis, students gain foundational knowledge of professional language while developing skills to identify and utilize meaningful occupation as treatment media. Integrated lab experiences include activity analysis, completion of selected craft activities and assessment of characteristics of therapeutic value and use of occupations.
