Course Information

This course is designed to introduce the student to the teaching/learning process as it relates to the practice of occupational therapy. Students will become familiar with teaching and learning theories, methods, skills and techniques. Students will apply teaching/learning principles through the development of an educational module addressing the needs of the individual consumer of occupational therapy services and their caregivers. Health literacy topics will be explored. Students will organize an educational module designed for healthcare providers and public audiences.
