Course Information

This course is a study of the current literature and theoretical principles and their application to the evaluation and treatment of young adults through retirement age. An introduction of assessments and interventions directed toward occupational dysfunction typically encountered in adulthood are explored in depth. Integrated lab sessions provide practical experiences designed to apply current evidence in the literature, introduced in lecture and the development of problem-solving, clinical reasoning and documentation skills. Students assess the value of low and high technological devices and environmental modifications for this population.
