Course Information

This course examines functional anatomy and biomechanical principles necessary for human movement and engagement in occupations. Basic concepts in biomechanics and joint and muscle structure and function are the foundations for understanding the necessary components of movements required for occupational performance and will be covered in this class. Laboratory experiences include analysis of movement for occupational performance, gait, range of motion, manual muscle testing and posture.
