Course Information

This course surveys the theories in second language acquisition and teaching methodologies in second language teaching. Principles of the teaching of English as a second language based on research in linguistics, psycholinguistics, and second language pedagogy are explored in lectures, structured readings, discussions, and projects. This course is required for the Graduate Certificate in TESL and meets the requirements of the Undergraduate Certificate in Linguistic Studies.
