Course Information

This course is a continuation of the art of physical assessment designed to focus on the adult, geriatric, newborn, pediatric and gynecologic patient, using a systematic approach of examination techniques and proper use of equipment. Skills in interviewing, examining, medical documentation and oral presentation are developed with emphasis on the relationship of the patient history to the exam through lecture and integrated lab activities.
