Course Information
This course addresses issues relating to employee relations in all kinds of organizations and on labor relations in unionized organizations. Topics covered will include employment law, handbooks and policy manuals, collective bargaining agreements, labor history, union avoidance strategies and union formation processes. Students will learn negotiation skills and techniques as they relate to managing human resources.
